Your no fail spring/summer shirt.
Warm weather, cold drinks by the fire, beach days, early sunrise and late sunset, summer is officially here to stay. Staying stylish for summer can be sometimes tricky for some, but I feel that dressing for summer should be too much and should be kept simple after all its scorching hot out there. During the hot summer months I like to keep things fun, simple and interesting.
One of my favorite summer staples is the ever so stylish floral short sleeve shirt. I feel a floral shirt is a great piece because you can pair it with a suit (no tie for this one) and a pair of white slip-on sneakers, under a leather jacket with some distressed denim and boots, as well as tucked into a pair of suit trousers.
A leather jacket, t-shirt and boots is one of my go to looks, but for this look i decided to swap the t shirt for a black floral shirt. pairing it with ripped blue jeans helps ton down all the black a little bit.
for this look i decided to go with light colors that i felt complimented each other, by pairing the light blue floral shirt with the light gray trousers. Accessorizing properly during the summer time can make or break and outfit, for that reason i decided to add a pair of square framed tortoise shell sunnies from Warby parker, a black leather band watch from guess and a simple bracelet.
To complete the look, a classic pair of all white slip-on vans keeps everything cohesive. If it starts to get a little colder into the night, adding a light blue bomber jacket keeps the look light and interesting, this bomber is from alpha industries, it’s reversible which you gives you two outfits in one ri. consider this look smart casual.
