Class in glass | Magnificent Paris

Where do I even begin, Maybe it’s the french in me that’s a little biased but when it come to great cities, Paris is and will always be my city of choice. everything from the art, culture, food, and the people, always has me buzzing. every time I ┬átravel to Paris there’s always an energy that I feel in the air that cant be matched by any other. I think it might be the Parisian joie de vivre. Paris will forever have my heart due to its beauty. Sometimes traveling to paris can be tricky but I found that the best times to visit are usually after the christmas periods in winter time and in the summer time towards the end of the summer, around mid July. Plus you get the added bonus of being there during sale season if you’re up for some shopping. When traveling to Paris, hotels are usually expensive, so if you’re on a budget my advice would be to search on airbnb for rooms. but if money is not an issue, there are some hotel recommendations at the end of this post.

Upon arrival in the french capital, the first order of business was to do the usual touristy things like visiting the eiffel tower, Le Louvre, and L’arc de triumphe. All these moments are relatively close to each other which is an added bonus. To really get the full experience of the louvre museum, i found it is best to set aside a day and take a full in depth tour.

The best way to really enjoy the city is to simply walk around and immerse yourself in everything Parisian. like trying local crepes, cafes like Les Deux magots. Restaurants like Le Relais des Entrecote and cantine de Belleville serve some really great dishes at decent price ranges. At Le Relais des Entrecote, they serve a steak and fry dish but what sets it apart is the sauce the steak is covered with. try it, trust me you won’t regret it. If you’re more of cafe type person Les Deux Magots serve some of the best croissants and pain au chocolat around. but if you’re not one to be cliche, you could always try a tartine, which is a baguette that comes with butter and jam. I could sit here and talk about Paris all day long, but words don’t really do it justice, so my advice would be to get out there and soak in everything the city of love has to offer.
