Resolve to a New & better YOU.

it’s almost that time of the year once again, new year, new goals, and new years resolutions. And as usual we all make that new years resolution of being healthier and exercising more. January 1st has become almost like a national holiday for new years resolutions.

Resolutions are great and important because they help you work toward new goals and new endeavors. But in order for to reap the benefits of a resolution, i feel it’s important to reflect on the past year, reflect on the positives as well as the negatives and evaluate where one could improve before setting on new ventures.

Before starting a new workout routine i feel it’s important to be honest with oneself. ask yourself these questions “am I ready to commit to this?” and “when the going gets tough how will react?”. ┬áIn order to achieve anything, commitment and most importantly perseverance and focus are required, sort of like school in order to get a degree and get a job you had to study every single day late night and early mornings. So i feel if we had the ability to achieve that we can do the same with our health.

Health is an aspect of life people take for granted, without realizing that if one is not healthy, one cant be productive and proactive thus affecting mode, physical appearance and over all self talk. I believe that a healthy body is a healthy mind thus creating an individual that is both caring, loving grateful and giving. So as we approach the famous date of January 1st, i challenge you all to take your health and fitness a little more serious, for you will reap the rewards in the long run.
